Evan Barrett

Evan is a Colorado native and has been a Castle Rock local since 2009. Evan began training Brazilian Jiu Jitsu in 2008, but has been involved in grappling since he was 12-years-old. Evan has been teaching Jiu Jitsu as his full time career since 2017 and believes he has a unique level of experience that few other instructors have because of his full time dedication to the art. Evan currently holds the rank of First Degree Black Belt, which he achieved under Professor Robert Drysdale in 2021. He earned his black belt from Robert Drysdale in 2018. In 2015, he earned the title of “No Gi Grappler of the Year” from Fight to Win Promotions and competed in their first submission only event, winning his match. Evan is still an avid competitor and can be found at all the local tournaments, many pro events and IBJJF tournaments. Along with being the head instructor at Fulcrum Jiu-Jitsu Academy, Evan is also the gym manager
